In Islam, Qurbani is the act of sacrificing an animal with pure intention for Allah (SWT). All the Muslims around the world perform Qurbani of goats, sheep, cows and camel on the first three days of Eid-ul-Adha. This Eid is celebrated on from the 10th to 13th of Dhul Hijjah. It reminds us of the sacrifice of Ibrahim (as) thousands of years ago, who prepared himself to sacrifice his son’s life for Allah’s sake.

Thee blood of the Qurbani reaches the stage of acceptance before it reaches the floor.” (Tirmizi, Ibnu Majah)
